About Teknisolar

Headquarters at the Daresbury Science and Innovation Centre in the northwest of England Teknisolar is a leading solar energy company founded in 2009 involved in the design, manufacture and commercialisation of high quality performance static and dynamic photovoltaic laminators.

The Teknisolar team is an experienced team of professionals with over 50 years of experience in the manufacture of lamination equipment and our lamination solutions have been developed in association with a Professor of the University of Naples, a leading world expert on fluid dynamics and heat transfer. Our solutions range 6 megawatt to over 60 megawatt of PV panels per year running on one shift and over 200 megawatt running continuously.

The design and manufacture of our first automated multistack pilot plant for 5 panels/cycle is already underway and scheduled to be ready by April 2010. The automated multistack lamination line will be launched in September at the 25th European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition in Valencia (6 - 10 September 2010).

For example, changing the membrane is quick and easy, and whatever the production capacity, a single person is able to supervise and monitor the entire running of the lamination line, saving on time and resources, and thus lowering manufacturing costs.

Our innovative design also provides energy consumptions much lower than other multistack or single opening laminators already available in the market. The laminator is completely automated and the foot print required for installation is very small.
